Let's Talk Chicks!
The sun rises before we wake, the rooster is crowing, and the snow is almost gone! You know what that means: Spring! It’s super exciting for us, and not only because it means we can spend our days getting muddy and not wear ten layers of clothing, but because it means baby everything! Baby plants, baby goats, and of course baby chickens! While I could talk about all these joys, I’m limiting today’s post to chicks. We have been raising chicks for about four years, so in no way do I consider myself a professional, or even overly knowledgeable.
